Altos de Luzon pays tribute to the unique identity of the Jumilla region, characterized by its rough, dry landscape and challenging climate at an average altitude of 650 meters. ​ This environment is where the Monastrell grape thrives, showcasing its best qualities and defining the history of winegrowing and the people of Jumilla. ​ The wine is crafted from 100% organic Monastrell grapes sourced from the "La Melera" plot, a 40-year-old dryland vineyard located at "La Venta del Puerto" at an altitude of 675 meters. ​ The vineyard's poor, gritty soil produces small grapes with high concentration and balanced acidity. ​ Grapes are manually harvested in small boxes, carefully transported to the cellar, and stored at 6°C for 24 hours. ​ Afterward, the best grapes are meticulously selected before undergoing the vatting and winemaking processes. ​ Altos de Luzon Monastrell 2021 reflects the values, pride, and respect for the land that inspires its creation. ​
