Viticulture:The grapes are from a selection of vineyards grown at 600m.(2000ft.) above sea level in free draining, calcareous, clay and chalky, rocky soil with lots of stones (canto rodado).
Winemaking: The fermentation took place in concrete and the wine matured on its fine lees for 12 months in concrete vats. A limited production of about 10.000 bottles.
Tasting note: Beautiful deep ruby colour. Vibrant aromas of raspberry, red cherry and subtle notes of white pepper, crushed black pepper and floral nuances. On the palate it is juicy and runs smoothly along the palate with soft ripe tannins and a delicate balance.
Suggested pairings: Pizza, pastas, risotto, paella.
Recommended temperature of service: 14-16 ºC.
