VINEYARD: Selection of grapes from our old vines located on Finca Torremilanos, mainly from the plots of Adrián, Valdecañal, Centenos and Almendros, located on the central hill of Torremilanos. Pebble vineyards, warmer and more expressive. We complete the production of this wine by providing the Taxista, Calabaza, Toro Negro, Enebro, Titón, Marciano and Higuera vineyards, which surround the hill. Average age: 80 years.


Viticulture: Traditional vineyards in glass. Hand picked grapes. Selected vintage. Biological production. Ecological certificate.


Wine Making Process:  Destemming.  Temperature controlduring fermentation in stainless steel tanks with indigenousyeasts (2 weeks). Racking, so that malolactic fermentationtakes place in barrels. Ageing of 27 months in oak (225 I.barrels manufactured in our in-house cooperage). All thebarrels are selected by the winemaker because they standout from the rest. Production of 52'015 bottles. Only some vintages the climate give us grapes to produce this wine.  Wine certified organic and biodynamic. 


Tasting Note:

Torre Albéniz combines the signature perfume notes of the Ribera de Duero
region with the structure and minerality from 85 years old vines in Finca
Torremilanos. Notes of plums and ripe red fruits in the nose of this rich Tempranillo. The palate is full-bodied with abundant fine-grained tannins and a velvety juicy texture.



15% Alc. Vol.

90% Tempranillo and 10% other indigenious varieties.
